ESSL’s Research and Training Centre is located in Wiener Neustadt about 55 km south of Vienna, within walking distance of its main train station, and in close proximity to the motorway from Vienna to Graz. In Wiener Neustadt (a meteorologically interesting city having been affected by tornadoes multiple times) some hotels are available that offer reduced rates for ESSL participants.
