Abstracts may contain text, formulas, figures and tables. Colored figures are allowed, but they will be printed in black and white for conference purposes (i.e. Abstracts Booklet or Conference Proceedings). Colors are going to be preserved in digital material (i.e. Conference CD-ROM or Conference Web Pages)
Abstracts should be uploaded together with your application by means of the:
On-line_Application Form.
Login to the Online Applications System and follow the instructions.

Edit the template generating your abstract. Follow the template format and scheme.
Save the abstract in PDF format
Select the session to which you wish to submit the contribution, see Session List
Give to the abstract file the name as follow:
[author family name]-[abstract number]-sec[section number].[oral/poster].pdf
where:
| author last name = |
it is the family name of the author submitting, and presenting, the work at the ECSS. Use lower case characters (example for Dario B. Giaiotti: giaiotti). |
| abstract number = |
it is a progressive integer number needed to discriminate among different abstracts submitted
by the same author in the same session (1 for the first, 2 for the second, etc.). Default is 1. If the same
author submits more that one abstract but in different sessions the default number is retained because no
ambiguity exists. |
| Section number = |
it is the two digits integer number identifying the section 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11.
